Smiley Face IN SPACE!!
In an image recently taken by NASA, is a smiley face. AKA galaxy cluster SDSS J1038+4849. The eyes are bright galaxies and the smile is arcs which are caused by the strong gravitational lensing effect.
The most massive thing in the known universe are galaxy clusters. The strength
of their gravitational pull is enough to warp the spacetime surrounding them. It also allows them to act as a cosmic lens, these can distort and bend the light behind them. Einstein's theory of general relativity can explain the phenomenon.
